Technical Customer Support - Mobile Apps

Adecco is currently hiring for a full-time Technical Customer Service Representative in Woodbridge, ON to work a one-month contract at a leading company in Facilities Management. In this role, you will be travelling on your own vehicle to assist client’s employees in using company’s specific-app on an employee’s mobile phone. The ideal candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting skills for isolating problems and determining/implementing solutions, as well as outstanding customer service support.

  • This role requires approximately 80% travel locally (daily travel within local city/area) and up to 10% travel within larger region utilizing personal vehicle.
  • Shifts: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday to Friday with required flexibility to respond to the needs of the business which could include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual updates on mobile devices
  • Provide technical support on mobile devices
  • Gain extensive knowledge of the Lighthouse software tool
  • Attend internal and external training sessions as required
  • Conduct on site visits to various contract locations and conduct in person training sessions with users on the Lighthouse software
  • Follow designated curriculum to ensure a consistent training experience
  • Evaluate trainees to determine progress and training effectiveness
  • Document training as required
  • Provide remote support to sites via telephone or virtual meetings as required
  • Troubleshoot end user concerns and assist with finding a resolution
  • Escalate concerns or issues as required
  • All other duties as required
  • Qualifications:

  • Must maintain a reliable vehicle and driver’s license that meet’s company’s requirements; must have a good driving record with no major offenses
  • Demonstrated dependability with the ability to work flexible hours, and travel (evenings and weekends required)
  • Minimum 1-year professional technical troubleshooting or training expertise, along with a proven technical ability
  • Smartphone, Tablet, and PC experience
  • Previous experience in the commercial janitorial industry would be an asset
  • Experience supporting users via phone, e-mail, and/or in person
  • Aptitude for acquiring skills in technical troubleshooting and an eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Passion for customer service and training users on software tools
  • Able to effectively tailor communication and style to differing audiences
  • Able to self manage and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Must demonstrate a sense of urgency in completing tasks
