On behalf of our top Banking client, Adecco is currently hiring for a Technical Support Agent - Banking for our client located in Toronto, ON. Apply now If you have previous experience working in a technical help desk capacity with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues in a high-volume environment. This position is currently remote with a possibility of going onsite. This will be 12-months full time contract position with a possibility of extension and conversion to perm (based on business needs), paying $19.00/hr.

  • Technical Support Agent - Banking Requirements:

  • Completion of post- secondary education required. University degree preferred
  • 2-4 years of related experience in a banking/financial services required
  • Minimum 1 year of ID administration or active directory experience mandatory
  • Understanding of the Active Directory environment and familiarity with applications such as WebIR, RPM, AS400, EDW
  • Knowledge of e-Mail systems: Outlook Exchange, Mainframe ACF2 and Notes Applications required
  • Intermediate Excel skills needed (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Computer savvy along with experience in PowerShell scripting and automation would be considered an asset
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills is mandatory
  • Exceptional customer service and ability to remain resilient under pressure
  • A team player who collaborates effectively with peers and other teams
  • Technical Support Agent - Banking Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily technical support and solutions within a timely manner including password resets
  • Respond to various inbound client emails and calls
  • Identify, resolve, or escalate service delivery issues and/or complaint
  • Key in and accurately document problem via ticketing process
  • Provide troubleshooting resolutions for various products and programs such as Citrix, all MS Office products
  • Adhere to established regulations, policies, and guidelines in completing daily activities
