  • Shifts: Monday to Friday 10:00am-6:00pm & 11:00am-7:00pm
  • Job type: Full-time | Permanent

  • Job responsibilities include:

  • Providing top quality technical support, troubleshooting of IT networks and communications systems, including associated applications
  • Working remotely with end-users and technicians, diagnosing, and recommending solutions leading to resolution of issues in VoIP environments
  • Documenting in detail all site information, troubleshooting steps, and time reporting in Customer Relationship Management Systems
  • Collecting system and event log information
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining lab equipment
  • Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a technical field is required
  • 3-5 years' experience in the Technical Support field, using CRM databases, core PBX Technology and related VOIP networks, TCP/IP (IP Networking) and Linux Operating Systems; Windows 2003/2008 server, and telephony technologies (ISDN, SIP, H.323, etc)
  • Capable of troubleshooting converged networks, IP/VOIP issues across LAN/WAN, VPN, VLAN Routers, Firewalls, Switches, IP PBX deployment, TCP/IP (IPv4), DNS
  • Logical, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong technical aptitude
  • Good communication and organization skills
  • Independent, dependable, self-motivated, takes ownership and initiative
  • Proficient in written and verbal English
