Adecco is currently recruiting Technician Assemblers for our international client with a location in Peterborough, Ontario.  This Process Technician position is a renewable contract position which requires you to support Quality and Engineering with the development of procedures specifically Special Process documentation and work instructions improvement
You will participate in equipment qualification tasks and support Engineering with production of prototypes and pre-production samples according to cost and schedule requirements.  As the successful candidate for this Process Technician you will also support Engineering with process improvement activities and assist with development of manufacturing methods, labour standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization.
You will work closely with Manufacturing.

Our client requires:
Two or three year college diploma in Electronics Engineering or Electromechanical/Project Management or similar discipline
Minimum two years in an electronics circuit board and unit assembly environment with some quality experience would be an asset
Attention to detail and good English writing abilities
Motivated by process documentation
Familiar with Lean Manufacturing Concepts
Ability to read and understand electronic schematics preferred
Proficient in computer software applications such as MS Office
