Adecco is currently recruiting for a Territory Sales Representative based in South Vancouver, BC for our Client, a wholesale manufacturer and distributor of Pet accessories. We are looking for an experienced sales professional to join our clients team in one of their strongest markets. The only thing that should rival your passion for sales, and all things related, is the love of your pets. We are looking for someone who can grow our client's marketshare through building lasting relationships with customers, as well as someone who is fun, resourceful, and experienced; possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent our client across the sales territory and at events within the community (British Columbia)
  • Strive to create new business within assigned territory
  • Work with Sales Manager and existing Sales Reps on sales blitz follow ups, trade show follow up and lead generation
  • Foster and maintain ongoing relationships with new and existing accounts; promote the organization and its products, maximizes sales, and resolve any customerrelated issues to the satisfaction and benefit of both the customer and the organization
  • Process accurate sales orders, returns and other functions through various systems
  • Actively participate in product, service and sales training sessions
Requirements:
  • Passionate about pets!
  • Experience in consumer product sales; experience specifically in pet products would be an asset
  • Professional and friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop a rapport with customers
  • Available to work Full Time Hours and flex according to the needs of retail customers
  • Superior presentation skills
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • High level of professionalism and integrity
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role sales role
  • Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
  • This role requires a considerable amount of travel to visit accounts in the territory.
  • A valid driver license and good driving record is required
  • Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • A valid passport is required for occasional travel to tradeshow events
