Adecco is currently hiring for a Test Technician for our client in Ottawa East. This is a contract opportunity with potential to turn permanent based on performance and business needs. We are offering Full Time hours, Monday to Friday days at $20/hr.

 

We are looking for a qualified Test Technician to test products according to established quality standards. The successful candidate shall help ensure our products are produced for on time delivery.

 

The production tester must be well-versed in testing procedures and methods, organized, and results-driven, with excellent problem-solving skills.  Advanced communication in English as well as computer skills are also essential to the role.

 

The goal is to ensure the smooth and the cost-efficient flow of our production operations.

 

Test Technician Responsibilities include:

 

  • In-process testing of sub-assemblies
  • Executing  test procedures on final products
  • Supporting mechanical assembly
  • Equipment calibration and maintenance
  • Supporting continual improvement of production processes

 

Test Technician Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Electronic, or Electrical, or Mechanical Technician/Technologist program
  • Excellent knowledge of test equipment (oscilloscopes etc.)
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication abilities in English
  • Team Player with good interpersonal skills
  • Eligible for Security Clearance and ITAR
