Adecco is currently hiring for a Training Coordinator in Waterloo Ontario. The Training Coordinator is responsible for identifying the training needs of the client’s Individual Life & Living Benefit Sales, Individual Health & Dental, Travel and Mortgage Creditor Insurance. This involves building strong relationships with the field sales staff and leaders, combined with the ability to ask deeper questions from an adult learning viewpoint. To be considered for this Training Coordinator role, you must have 1-2 years’ experience in a training or classroom environment.

This is a 12-month contract and has a pay rate $34 /hour.

Training Coordinator Responsibilities

Individual Accountabilities: 75%

• Acts as liaison between the Curriculum Design and Development Team and Insurance Sales
• Builds strong working relationships with Sales audiences to better understand business needs, identify performance outcomes, and anticipate training requirements
• Conduct ongoing needs analysis using sound design principles to identify and define training needs
• Partners with sales audiences to develop training plans for all training projects
• Manages end-to-end training projects and annual training plan
• Administers content and content strategy within micro-learning tool
• Develops metrics and measurement reports on sales training initiatives
• Identifies and collaborates with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to curate content for projects and leverage expertise
• Creates and manages
detailed library of SMEs to leverage across businesses and projects
• Builds strong working relationships with Head Office and Field staff and shares adult learning expertise as required
• Manages all aspects of needs assessment implementation
•Requires strong ability to build relationships and influence across all levels

Key Shared Accountabilities: 25%

• Works closely with Instructional Designers who develop training solutions
• Works closely with Design and Development team to identify needs, share information and identify training opportunities
• Facilitates training as required

Training Coordinator Qualifications:
• University/College degree in an education-related field (B.Ed., Adult Education or equivalent) preferred

• 1-2 years’ experience in a training or classroom environment preferred
• 2-3 years of formal instructional design experience preferred, including conducting in-depth needs assessment using ADDIE (or similar) design model.
• Experience with multiple delivery methods, including e-learning initiatives
• Knowledge of, and the ability to apply adult learning principles Competencies
• Ability to think critically and ask targeted questions to determine needs and respond appropriately
• Creative and innovative
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
