Job Description

The role of a Transfer Specialist (8 month contract) is to ensure that excellent customer service is provided to all shareholders and clients through the up-front review and validation and the continued processing or rejection of operational documents for all incoming transactional issuer requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide service that is based on a full understanding of the client's requests. It is critical to meet those needs with timely as well as accurate advice or service.
  • Review and verify accuracy and completeness of source documents for processing following existing business rules with minimum supervision.
  • Ensure that volumes are dealt with by assisting the Team Leader in monitoring and tracking outstanding items.
  • Identify source documents that are incomplete or have irregularities.
  • Adhere to assigned schedules and standard times.
  • Required Skills:

  • Must be able to read material requiring an understanding of content in instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Must be able to write or modify the text to accurately communicate to others using precise language to avoid misunderstanding of information.
  • Must be able to verbally communicate sometimes advanced levels of information with a considerable need for explanation or description. It is vital that this explanation or description be precise to avoid misunderstanding complex information.
  • Perform alternation or rotating shift work as required.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
