We are currently looking for a Transformation Director to join our Canadian leadership team. In this role you will execute on the decided Country transformation roadmap that aligns with global priorities while meeting unique regional transformation needs. You will be responsible for the full transformation cycle from ideation to adoption including identifying, sourcing, scoping, executing, leveraging, and delivering the expected benefits. You will manage the communication of the transformation portfolio of initiatives ensuring it is manageable, realizable, understood and adopted across the organization and that it drives the expected quality results.

This position is remote, and the desired candidate can be located anywhere within Canada.

As a qualified candidate, you have project management certification and 5-10 years of broad applied project management experience managing multiple projects, leading staff and utilizing project tracking and management tools such as MS Project. You have proven successful experience in the sustainable implementation of digital transformation projects and in the accompanying cultural change of various business units and teams.

Transformation Director functions include:


Creates a strategy execution roadmap and governance at the country level that meets global requirements. Scopes, creates, deploys, executes, and ensures adoption of the roadmap to successfully deliver transformation Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Ensures budget requests and spend support strategic portfolio execution.



Engages, communicates with and influences stakeholders on deliverables and escalates roadblocks to a range of stakeholders to mitigate risks and opportunities. Acts as an instrumental support for Group Strategy, ensuring prescribed frameworks, methods and requirements are executed.



Drives strong relationships with the central transformation teams and acts as a key point of contact for global SMEs. Maintains close relationships with functional transformation leads in other departments to ensure the roadmap and objectives are aligned and synchronized, and to provide feedback on global function ambition to ensure success in delivery.



Manages interdependencies and coordinates cross-functional actions. Ensures best practices are known and shared in and across the country and functions. Provides input on innovation and ideation and promotes lift and shift across the organization to achieve true co-creation.



Ensures mirror organization is set so key transformation governance activities are executed within scope and quality expectations (Value Realization, Program Management Office, Project Management, etc.). Actively participates in global governance bodies.



Analyzes products, solutions, KPIs and market competition, and acts as the country sponsor for the product lifecycle from commitment of digital adoption targets connected to the MFRP, to the preparation, roll-out, and scaling of products within the country. Secures local staffing of projects for deployment and promotes and communicates the product portfolio across the country.



Ensures IT projects are in scope and that functional requirements are properly communicated to minimize localization and change requests.



Liaises and collaborates with the local Communications team to ensure the purpose of the transformation program is communicated effectively to all local/relevant employee audiences. Strives to help employees understand how they can contribute to the program’s objectives and ultimately to the program’s success.



Transformation Director requirements:


Completion of post-secondary education in related field or years of equivalent experience demonstrating progressive responsibility.
5 -10 years of broad applied Project Management experience in managing multiple projects and leading staff.
Project Management certification is a strong asset.
Proven experience in the sustainable implementation of digital transformation projects and in the accompanying cultural change of various business units and teams.
Strong digital acumen and understanding of technology applications as they relate to the staffing industry.
Solid knowledge and experience in various Project Management and Product Development concepts, methodologies, and processes.
Demonstrated proficiency in the use and/or understanding of project tracking and management tools such as MS Project (including project schedule, reports and outputs, and SharePoint).
Proficient in PC software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail applications.
