Adecco is currently recruiting for a Unified Communications Support for a 4-month contract with our Federal Client located in Ottawa, ON.

The Unified Communications Support will have the following responsibilities:

  • Level 2 VoIP end point device configuration and end user support
  • Move Add Change Delete services
  • Resolve Service related issues
  • Cabling and jack troubleshooting and repair
  • Fax line and 1FL support
  • Layer 1 network connectivity and troubleshooting
  • Boardroom UC technology support
  • Receive, update and close requests within a request management solution
  • Fix/repair/replace and install end user peripherals including headsets, phone handsets, etc.
  • Migrate users to VoIP
  • Decommission/uninstall traditional phone services

The Unified Communications Support must meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience supporting Cisco based Unified Communications technology including Jabber, VoIP phone end points managed through Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity, AV enabled boardroom technology.
  • Ability to manage (receive, reassign, update, close, etc.) tickets within an ITIL based Request Management solution.
  • Knowledge and experience with MACD requests and migrating TDM to VoIP regarding Cisco technologies including VoIP phone and analog end points, Unity, Jabber, and AV enabled boardrooms.
  • Cisco Call Manager and Unity to troubleshoot programming issues that may arise during dayto-day operations.
  • Knowledge and experience with Level 2 VoIP end point device configuration and end user support, cabling and jack troubleshooting and repair, Fax line and 1FL support, Layer 1 network connectivity and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to fix/repair/replace and install end user peripherals including headsets, phone handsets,
  • Ability and knowledge to support legacy technology and equipment including Nortel, Mitel, Centrex,
  • Ability to gather end user information and implement that knowledge into a new VoIP configuration.
  • Certifications related to Networking, Microsoft (2016, O365), Cisco VoIP and Telecommunication
  • Desirable CCNA collaboration and / or voice certification
