Adecco is currently hiring for a 12 month temporary Vehicle Order Specialist in North York. The Vehicle Order Specialist role would be ideal for someone who has over three years experience in the areas of automotive wholesale Sales, Planning, Reporting and/or Forecasting. The Vehicle Order Specialist will handle all vehicle order and option related dealer requests, while ensuring that order deadlines are met as well as administration and evaluation of national sales.


Vehicle Order Specialist Responsibilities:

• Regular new vehicle order handling and option review

• Handle option (i-Option, Exclusive, Custom Tailoring) related dealer and customer requests.

• Providing daily ordering support to the network including assessing, determining, and working with retail Sales Managers to clear unprocessed vehicle orders.

• Support Regional Sales Managers and client centers with order information, production dates, facilitate adjustments and order changes to maximize order demand fulfillment, jointly with the Distribution Manager.

• Conduct regular order demand tracking and verification.

• Support product planning with option take rates analysis, assists in determining option budgets and monitoring/reporting on performance.

• Support Sales Programs & Field Support Manager with the execution and administration of vehicle related sales programs.

• Monitoring of monthly sales programs and verification of dealer requests.

• Evaluation of impact and effectiveness of vehicle sales programs

• Maintaining, verifying and publishing monthly sales and option reports.


Vehicle Order Specialist Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, automotive degree or equivalent experience required. MBA preferred.  

• 3+ years experience in the areas of automotive wholesale Sales, Planning, Reporting, and/or Forecasting.

• Retail automotive experience is an asset.

• Understand the intricacies of the retail automotive business.

• High level of written, oral communication/presentation and sales forecasting skills.

• Strong Analytical skills.

• Superior computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes).  

• Ability to effectively negotiate or mediate difficult situations

• Ability to manage multiple high visibility projects simultaneously.
