Adecco is currently seeking a Vice President, Business Development Solutions for our client in Mississauga, ON, a leading provider of repair services and after-sales solutions for mobile devices and consumer electronic products.

The Vice President, Business Development Solutions will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and managing new strategies and business opportunities. In this role, the Director will oversee market analysis, identify and describe emerging industry trends and strategic needs as it relates to cross functional business endeavors. This key role will drive leadership in mid to large size project planning, designing and implementing of innovative business solutions by defining vision, strategies, and tactics to address market shifts in order to optimize the company’s competitive position to achieve better business.

Vice President, Business Development Solutions Responsibilities:


Manages expectations and results for leadership team, and executive-level stakeholders as appropriate
Interactions often involve controversial situations, customer negotiations, or influencing and persuading other senior level stakeholders
Acts as thought-leader and lead advisor
Leverages presentations to develop the storyline and connectivity to other projects
Participates with other senior leaders to establish strategic sales plans and objectives, identify strategic needs and prioritize areas of focus
Evaluates industry trends, developing long-term implications and recommended strategies for new business development
Defines and manages multiple strategic projects towards deliverables and timelines
Ensures frameworks incorporate broader strategic considerations
Builds advanced knowledge of company's products and industry, specifically cross-functional knowledge to define analytic goals
Makes project-specific resource allocation decisions


Vice President, Business Development Solutions Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a corporate strategy or consulting role; consumer electronics
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role.
Strategic and analytical thinking, strong capability of project management and problem-solving skills, sound judgment and a willingness to resolve issues and problems in a timely manner
Excellent communications skills with the ability to develop rapport and credibility across the organization, promote ideas and proposals persuasively.
Bachelor’s degree required; ideally in Business Administration.

Vice President, Business Development Solutions Compensation:

$150,000 plus 25% bonus
full benefits
3-4 weeks paid vacation
