We have a full time position open for a Vice President of Sales inToronto,ON. In this role, you will be responsible for all facets of sales management inCanada. Reporting directly to the President and as a member of the Canadian Leadership Team, you help establish The Adecco Group Canada’s strategy and have a direct impact on the organization’s success. Staffing and Recruitment industry experience is required. Bilingualism (French/English) is a strong asset.

As a qualified candidate, you have proven business development skills with a willingness to prospect, lead and close big deals; you are a strategic thinker and have strong leadership capabilities – including the ability to motivate sales teams. You understand the evolving needs of clients in the marketplace as they relate to staffing; both general and professional, and have a strong understanding of Adecco’s full workforce solutions offering including in-country RPO/mass recruitment, onsite solutions and Master Vendor/Supplier programs.

The Vice President of Sales job duties and responsibilities include:


- Conceptualizes and implements strategies to achieve new business development and sales growth within existing accounts.
- Effectively manages client relationships, acts as an escalation point for client issues and is an executive sponsor to several top accounts.
- Manages and guides the pricing strategy to ensure both competitiveness and profit.
- Develops and executes plans to ensure Market Segmentation success.
- Works in partnership with Regional Business Leaders to increase sales potential and cross sell brands within Canada, including Professional, E&T, IT – both temp and perm.
- Oversees contract compliance within large accounts.
- Conducts training with colleagues throughout the organization on sales related topics such as pricing and negotiation.
- Provides strategic leadership and coaches a sales team which is comprised of business development, account management and compliance colleagues.


Qualifications:


- University Degree or College Diploma required.
- A minimum of 10 years related work experience required, with at least 5 in a people management capacity and a proven track record of 5 years direct sales experience.
- English language proficiency a must. French language proficiency is a strong asset.
- Experience selling within the Canadian Market an asset.
- Working knowledge of Canadian Labour laws an asset.
