Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary Visual Designer to work full-time hours for our client in Ottawa, ON.  As a Visual Designer you understand visual design for the web and mobile and create engaging work that strikes a balance between customer needs, the business case, our brand and design system, and interpret agency work within our digital spaces. You should enjoy the challenge of one or two long-term projects while also working on bite-sized design requests.

  • Location: Ottawa, ON
  • Availability Required: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

    • Responsibilities:

  • Visual interfaces where information is easy to discover and understand
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholder partners, content strategists, intake, and product owners
  • Adhering to our brand and design system guidelines
  • Helping our stakeholder partners find design solutions to their challenges
  • Designing mini-sites and web pages
  • Designing visuals for emails
  • Designing forms
  • Designing visuals for blogs
  • Designing banners and other marketing display elements

    • Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • Experience in designing for web and mobile
  • You are organized, responsible and able to work on multiple projects and deliver quality designs to deadline
  • Proficient in Adobe design suite
  • Illustration skills (can create an icon, or visual to help an infographic)
  • Know, or are willing to learn how to use, Figma
  • Understand, or are willing to learn, WCAG 2.0 AA standards for visual design
