Adecco is currently hiring for full-time Wafer Fabrication contract roles at our Ottawa, ON client’s medical manufacturing facility. To qualify for this role, you must have successfully graduated from High School and be able to pass a criminal background check. 

 

All shifts are 12 hours long with the hours of 6:30am – 6:30pm 4x4 or a fixed 12-hour night shift of 6:30pm – 6:30am for 4 nights a week. Rate of pay will start at $17.51 per hour with a premium for the night shift.

 

Requirements for Wafer Fabrication Role:

 

  • Successful graduation from High School
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must have the desire and initiative to excel.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and good organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Excellent manual dexterity, high attention to detail and quality.
  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment with a willingness to work 12 hr shifts.
  • Previous experience working in wafer fabrication or working in a photo laboratory would be considered an asset.

    Responsibilities for Wafer Fabrication Role:

     

  • Operate and monitor processing equipment.
  • Working with various chemicals in a clean-room environment.
  • Working in a team-oriented environment.
  • Set-up equipment and adhere to clean room and quality procedures as required
  • Be able to successfully follow processes and procedures with minimal supervision
