Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Core Operator – Medical Manufacturing contract at our Ottawa, ON client’s medical manufacturing facility. The shift is a Monday to Friday day shift (9am to 4pm). The hourly rate of pay is $16.62

Requirements for Core Operator – Medical Manufacturing Role:

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast paced, repetitive environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • An effective team player
  • Strong computer skills including MS Excel and Word
  • Clean criminal record

Responsibilities for Core Operator – Medical Manufacturing Role:

  • Assembly of sensor cards and/or sensor tapes according to process work instructions
  • Performs basic machine set-up and/or maintenance according to process work instructions
  • Identifies process or product non-conformances and promptly alert engineering and technical support for remediation
  • Performs basic troubleshooting in the production line and report issues
  • Repetitive, detailed nature of the assembly process
  • Ability to function in a fast paced noisy environment
  • Manual dexterity
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Understand and comply with applicable EH&S policies, procedures and guidelines and applicable manufacturing procedures
  • Other miscellaneous duties as required
