Our client in the Belleville, ON area is looking for a Warehouse Lead (Forklift Driver) who knows their way around a warehouse and has good Excel skills to manage their inventory database.

THE ROLE:

* 6 hrs operating a counter balance forklift in a small warehouse and 2 hours managing inventory using Excel

· Performs all functions within shipping, receiving and material handling.

· Confirm and record the receipt of shipments

· Conduct inspection of incoming shipments and report discrepancies in quantity or product type for accounting, reimbursement and record keeping

· Conduct weekly inventory counts for Production scheduling and ensure inventory accuracy.
Communicate with logistics coordinator for the tracing of shipments

· Coordinate stock transfers to offsite storage.

· Maintain all shipping and receiving records

· Organize the warehouse and maintain order

· Manage the transport of goods and materials

· Forklift operation and material handling, unloading or loading

· Utilize EXCEL to manage stock, inventory and track orders

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

· Experience in a Lead Hand / Leadership capacity

· Experience maneuvering product in a small warehouse

· Minimum 3 years forklift driving experience; Valid Forklift Certification preferred

· Excellent written and oral communication

· Able to lift 50 lbs and work in cool climate

· Proficient in MS Office, specifically EXCEL
