Warehouse Lead

Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, full-time Warehouse Lead to work at a well-established equipment supplier located in Mississauga, ON. In this role, you will report to the company Directors and work in partnership with the Service Coordinator, Sales Manager and Service Manager and warehouse staff to ensure that all equipment is received, shipped, and accounted for.

  • Pay Rate: $50,000-55,000/annually

  • Shifts: 8:30 AM- 4:00 PM

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and receive shipments from vendors and trade in’s from customers (inspect for damage, note and update in company systems)
  • Coordinate outbound shipments to customers, via skids and padded trucks
  • Build and prepare skids as required
  • Prepare used equipment for service and staging for sales photography
  • Facilitate the pre delivery inspection process and setup warranty and customer service information
  • Complete the necessary paperwork for incoming equipment
  • Provide freight quotes to sales
  • Place received items in their respective places
  • Convert daily packing slips to invoice
  • Maintain inventory for spare parts kit and manage inventory cycle counts
  • Create PO’s for and receive / invoice as appropriate blade sharpening
  • Order warehouse supplies
  • Oversee vacation support/ overflow backup for other warehouse members
  • Liaise with freight vendors to ensure best rates
  • Maintain an organized and safe warehouse
  • Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in warehouse administration, construction or building is desirable
  • 2-3 years of work experience in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to use tools to build skids and pump trucks
  • Must have computer skills and knowledge of computer applications 
  • Familiarity with administrative fuctions such as emails, managing accounts, quotes etc.
  • Good oral and written communication skills with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Ability to lead a team with a dynamic team-spirit
  • Ability to mulit-task and possess a team-player attitude with willingness to learn
