Adecco is currently hiring for a Warehouse Manager in Delta, BC. This role is with a Canadian based company that supplies to one of Canada’s biggest home improvement retailers. The candidate selected will answer directly to the operations manager and company owner and will be a crucial link between the upper management personnel and the warehouse staff. This warehouse manager position is a newly created position, and the warehouse team already has tenure and is fully trained on their duties. This is a low-pressure operation and as such, the manager isn’t expected to be implementing a wide array of changes, they will be primarily maintaining current operating structure. This is a day shift role, Monday – Friday.

Compensation for this position is negotiable based on experience, but the target salary range is 55K – 60K per year based on experience.

Job Responsibilities:
-Manage a group of 5-10 active warehouse associates
-Ensure accuracy in inbound and outbound shipments
-Communicate effectively with management, owners, manufacturers, shipping contacts and clients
-Help with scheduling of employees
-Maintain and manage inventory (600-700 sku’s)
-Assist with organization and shipping process. This role is a “working manager” role, and the candidate will be expected to manage and perform labor related tasks if needed

-Minimum 2 years in a supervisor / manager / team lead role
-Minimum 2 years in a warehouse environment
-Access to reliable transportation in crucial
-Experience on forklifts and reach trucks is a major asset
-Having a positive attitude and pleasant demeanor is important
