Adecco is hiring for an order picker in the Oakville area. This role requires a clear criminal background. Job duties may include maintaining stock accuracy in the warehouse, picking and packing orders for outbound shipment, receiving inbound shipments. This role is full time on day shift or afternoon shift. Day shift is 7:00am to 3:00pm or 8:00am to 4:00pm, afternoon shift is 3:30pm to 12:00pm. This role has the potential to hire. Our client takes the health and safety of all staff seriously, social distancing and mask wearing is strongly enforced. All PPE and precautions are in place.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking and packing orders
  • Processing orders
  • Perform cycle counts daily, as well as Inventory Control Functions.
  • Reports any discrepancies to Inventory Leads and Operations Manager.
  • Data entry into client logging system
  • Use of RF scanner 
  • Maintain a clean, organized work station.
  • Material Handler Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience working in a high volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate a PC and input data.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and also within a team.
