Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, full-time Warehousing/Plant Operations Manager to work at our well-established, reputable client in Edmonton, AB. If you have more than eight years of managerial or supervisory experience and you enjoy having the responsibility of overseeing more than one location, then this opportunity might be yours!
Location: Edmonton, AB; Some travel required (25%)
Shifts: Monday to Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the plant's efficiency, safety, continuous improvements, quality control, regulatory compliance, productivity, cost control, maintenance, project management, and inventory.
Lead a diverse operations team in all warehousing and operational activities
Review and analyze P&L and statistical reports and handle budgeting responsibilities
Work safely and promote a safe work environment and hold safety meetings according to company guidelines
Perform preventative maintenance and plant inspections
Ensure inventory accuracy and cadence of physical counts are respected
Manage maintenance expenditures within the allocated budget
Continue to build a culture of mutual respect, teamwork, and professionalism, demonstrating active support for the Company’s values and policies
Empower and develop teams by applying situational leadership, coaching, facilitation, presentation, and role-playing (feedback & conflict management) skills, and possess the ability to hold your team accountable
Requirements and Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a must
Five plus years of demonstrated experience overseeing more than one location is needed
Proficiency in MS office applications, SAP is an asset
High level of decision-making ability and problem-solving skills is crucial for success
Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrate a customer-focused attitude to internal and external stakeholders
Have a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration
Able to work independently, manage priorities, and take on new tasks
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
