Adecco is currently seeking a Warranty Claims Adjuster to join our clients team. As a Warranty Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for processing and analyzing failed parts to determine warranty eligibility. Utilizing your technical expertise, you'll play a vital role in evaluating manufacturing defects and external damages, making informed decisions on warranty claims and ensuring a smooth process.

  • Pay rate: $24.04/hour +premium of $1/hour for bilingual

  • Location: Ajax, ON

  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Detailed Job Description:

  • Process and analyze failed parts to ensure warranty authorization criteria are met, using various test instruments and diagnostic equipment.

  • Utilize technical expertise to pre-analyze failed parts, identifying manufacturing defects and damages from external influences.

  • Apply technical and warranty knowledge to approve, reject, or apply charge-backs for warranty claims; communicate decisions to dealers.

  • Review and adjust "Parts Request" claims, recording detailed rejection or adjustment reasons in the warranty database.

  • Create shipping or disposition lists for all analyzed parts and ensure proper storage of denied parts during the appeal process.

  • Respond to general inquiries and warranty appeal decisions via phone and email.

  • Prepare the Warranty Part Return Centre for factory audits and assist in conducting Warranty Training Classes related to Claim Processing and Parts Request.

Candidate's Profile:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

  • High school Diploma required; Associate or Technical College qualification preferred.

  • 1-3 years of related automotive experience.

  • Successful completion of a criminal background check.

  • Bilingual French an asset.
