Our client, who has had a wealth of success helping customers plan, build, and execute their digital advertising campaigns, is looking for a Web Designer with some Front-End Developer experience, who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming.

Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Web Designer/Developer:

Intermediate experience using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop or other graphic design tools to produce appealing designs for websites and banner ads
Must have an online graphic design portfolio
Intermediate knowledge of developing websites using HTML, CSS, and Javascript
Experience using CSS preprocessors like SASS
Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability, and originality
Ability to present designs and communicate ideas and concepts
Strong multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
An understanding of what makes a design attractive from a customer’s perspective
Strong attention to detail
A willingness and drive to learn more

The compensation package is a base salary of between $55 000 to $65 000 plus a generous bonus structure dependent upon performance, 3 weeks’ vacation, 5 flex days, RRSP Matching, gym membership, full benefits and continual training to their staff.
