Adecco is actively seeking Welders for a client in the Quinte area that offers full benefits after a 3-month probationary period. These are permanent full-time openings and successful candidates will work directly for the client site. To be successful in this role, candidates must have previous experience with MIG Welding.  The function of the Welder is to manufacture client product according to specs/blueprints.

Salary: $15.00 - $17.00/hour based on experience

Welder Responsibilities:
- Manufacture client product according to spec/blueprint, using MIG welding skills
- Inspect welded product for quality 
- Operating a Crane/Hoist
- Conduct daily checks of equipment as per safety standards

Requirements:
- Must have MIG welding experience, certification is an asset
- Operation of Crane/Hoist, experience is an asset
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to read Blueprints is considered an asset
- Must be able to identify flaws in the welding and identify structural imperfections
- Must have excellent hand/eye coordination
- Heavy Lifting is required
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Availability to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday, days and afternoons
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check if selected
- Strong communication skills and teamwork skills
