Our client in Toronto, ON is looking for a certified Welder to join their team on a fulltime permanent basis. Reporting to the Manager, Machine Shop, the Welder is responsible for the welding and fabrication of machined steel, sheet metal and formed steel/aluminum, etc. into company products, from machine and fabricating drawings.

Welder Responsibilities:

Gas and Arc welding of various materials, brazing and oxy acetylene
Various product fabricated from sheet steel, steel and aluminum angles, channels bar stock, etc.
Cleanliness of machines and immediate vicinity.
Performs other duties appropriate to this position.

Welder Qualifications:

Certified in Tig/Mig Arc welding
CWB licence

Minimum 5 years fabrication experience

Familiar with all fabrication equipment such as Brakes, Presses, Shears, etc.
Must be able to interpret machining drawings
Familiar with the use of standard machine shop instruments and tools, i.e. Micrometers, venires, hand tools, etc.
