Are you looking for a permanent welding opportunity in the Quinte area? Adecco is currently recruiting Welders for permanent positions in Trenton, ON. Our client offers the opportunity to work a straight day shift Monday to Friday or straight afternoon shifts Monday to Thursday, and full benefits after 3 months. To be successful in this role, candidates must have previous experience with MIG Welding.
Salary: $17.00/hour with $2.00/hour shift premium on afternoon shift
Welder Responsibilities:

  • Weld racking according to specs and blueprints using a MIG welder
  • Operating a Crane/Hoist Conduct daily checks of equipment as per safety standards
Welder Requirements:
  • Must have MIG welding experience, certification is an asset
  • Operation of Crane/Hoist, experience is an asset
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to read Blueprints is considered an asset
  • Must be able to identify flaws in the welding and identify structural imperfections
  • Must have excellent hand/eye coordination
  • Heavy Lifting is required
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Availability to work full time hours, Monday to Friday, days and afternoons
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check if selected
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork skills
