Adecco is currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Administrative / HR Coordinator in Mississauga, ON, to work at a globally known and well-established company majoring in information technology. The ideal candidate will have a University Degree in Human Resources or Business Management with minimum 2 years’ experience in Human Resources function and general office administration or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

In this role, you will be responsible but not limited to supporting recruitment, onboarding, benefits enrollments, HR reporting and exit.

  • Pay rate: $58,000-68000/year 
  • Location: Mississauga, ON
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting hiring, creating job descriptions, posting roles, conducting phone screens, coordinating with hiring managers for interviews and performing background checks
  • Extensively use the company internal systems for submitting approvals, new hires, terminations etc.
  • Prepare new-hire documentation and orientation
  • Support benefits enrollments and terminations. Generate and consolidate reports for our client and provide timely information to RHQ/ HQ as requested. Support audits with requested information
  • Support payroll coordinator in monthly audit process
  • Help maintaining employee records while keeping confidentiality all the time.
  • Support exit process by ensuring documentation and asset retrieval.
  • Conduct procurement activities for the, in compliance with company procedures and in coordination with Finance department
  • Responsible for connecting MIS for IT setups and with external mobility vendors
  • Follow-up on matters pertaining to building access, security, and health and safety initiatives. Responsible to periodic asset tracking and management for the corporate group.
  • Identify and recommend methods to improve administrative systems and business functions to maximize office efficiency and effectiveness
  • Responsible for health and safety related functions including implementing COVID-19 protocols, maintaining H&S database, reports and documents for compliance and follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • University Degree/ Diploma in Human Resources or Business Management with minimum 2 years’ experience in Human Resources function and general office administration or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
  • Experience in recruitment and administrative tasks is an asset
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations/ distribution practices is a plus
  • Knowledge of payroll and financial reporting would be an asset
  • Strong analytical, research, presentation, communication and relationship building skills are required.
  • Ability to work efficiently with time management and organizational skills with follow-up and follow through.
  • Ability to find root-cause of the problem and troubleshoot independently
  • Able to work in multicultural environment
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
