Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled and proactive Millwright in Edmonton, AB. Your role will involve performing preventative maintenance and repairs on various industrial machines under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor.

Assemble, install, and ensure the proper operation of equipment.
Diagnose and repair equipment promptly with minimal supervision.
Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to prioritize and address equipment needs.
Report any concerns or issues to the Supervisor immediately.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery.
Proficiency in fitting bearings, aligning gears and shafts, attaching motors, and connecting couplings and belts to precise tolerances.
Ability to work closely with other tradespeople and maintain effective communication.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Awareness of facility risks and hazards with the ability to mitigate them safely.
Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism.
Basic computer skills for completing required reports.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Confident, resourceful, and motivated with a positive attitude.
Education and Experience:
Journeyman or Apprentice Millwrights are encouraged to apply.
Apprentice Millwright time can be accrued.
Preference for candidates with experience working on milling, grinding, or shredding equipment.
