Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Test Technician to join our client’s manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing complex assembly, testing, and troubleshooting processes while ensuring quality standards are met. Responsibilities:
Perform manual assembly, operate automated assembly equipment, and conduct hand soldering tasks.
Utilize automated test equipment to inspect and repair products, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Set up and calibrate assembly lines, conduct feeder repairs, and perform preventative maintenance.
Identify and address issues in the assembly process or with individual components.
Maintain adherence to product quality standards, soldering specifications, and SMT processing systems.
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance production efficiency and resolve technical challenges.
Provide guidance and demonstrate work methods to new employees as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma with additional post-secondary coursework OR equivalent work experience.
Commitment to ongoing learning and training.
CGP Clearance is mandatory for this role
Certifications: Must possess required site-specific certifications.
Experience: 4-5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or electronics assembly.
Strong understanding of board assembly processes and product process flow.
Ability to set up, operate, and maintain hand soldering equipment and SMT processing systems.
Knowledge of in-circuit and functional test fixturing.
Proficiency in using computer applications (Word, Excel, Documentation Control Systems).
Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and operating machinery.
Perform repetitive manual tasks, requiring precision hand-eye coordination.
May require lifting heavy objects, prolonged standing, and working in confined spaces.
Extended periods of visual concentration on detailed documentation and assemblies.
All tasks are carried out within local Health & Safety guidelines
Problem-Solving: Ability to recognize and troubleshoot assembly process issues.
Communication: Effective communication skills to interact with internal teams and external contacts.
Teamwork: Ability to work efficiently within a team and lead production initiatives under tight deadlines.
