Responsibilities
Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of diverse land development projects ensuring quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met
Act as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining excellent communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle
Guide internal and external teams in delivering grading, servicing, and stormwater solutions, and review deliverables for accuracy and compliance
Lead proposal development, scope definition, and RFP response efforts to secure new business
Track and manage financial aspects of projects, including billing, progress payments, and budget monitoring
Actively pursue business development opportunities in the local market by leveraging industry knowledge and connections
Support contract administration activities and attend regular client and team meetings
Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing project environment
Requirements:
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
Minimum 8 years of civil engineering design experience within a consulting environment
At least 4 years of project management experience overseeing land development or infrastructure projects
Professional designation as P.Eng. or C.E.T.
Strong understanding of subdivision and site plan processes, municipal standards, and legislative regulations
Technical proficiency in engineering software and MS Office
Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to build lasting client relationships
Detail-oriented, proactive, and driven to deliver results
