Pay Rate: $25–$28/hour to start
Location: Red Deer, AB (Lacombe or Ponoka)
Shift: Monday to Friday| 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Job type: Full-time
What You’ll Do:
As a CNC Machinist Level 1, you’ll train to:
Set up and operate Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines.
Read and interpret work orders and part drawings.
Load programs into CNC machines and verify proper setup.
Select and install tools/tool holders required for each production run.
Position raw materials, castings, or semi-finished parts correctly on the machine.
Monitor machine operations, detect issues, and take corrective action.
Inspect and verify final products meet all quality specifications.
