Adecco is currently seeking a Contract Maintenance Planner, Construction position based in either Calgary, AB or Lloydminster, SK. This role involves leading and coordinating planning and scheduling activities within a large construction portfolio focused on maintenance and capital projects. The successful candidate will collaborate across teams to optimize construction plans and schedules, ensuring efficient execution in dynamic operational environments. Travel requirements vary by location: approximately 8 days per month if based in Calgary, and minimal travel if based in Lloydminster.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate planning and scheduling for construction and maintenance projects.
- Develop detailed, safety-compliant activity plans in collaboration with engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations teams.
- Provide bottom-up estimates and resource-loaded, leveled schedules.
- Ensure accurate project logic and support efficient concurrent work.
- Coordinate updates and continuous improvements with site representatives and commissioning teams.
- Monitor execution progress, adjust plans/schedules as needed, and report to leadership.
- Identify schedule risks and opportunities during execution.
- Support post-construction field activities and project closeout.
- Document lessons learned to improve future planning and estimating.
Requirements:
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling, preferably in oil & gas, heavy industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience managing planning for complex, multi-discipline capital projects, including commissioning and start-up.
- Strong collaboration skills with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Operations teams.
- Deep understanding of construction, commissioning, start-up, and operations workflows.
- Experience in brownfield or live operations environments.
- Familiar with Alberta and Western Canadian construction and safety regulations.
