Adecco is currently hiring for a full-time, permanent Custodian position for one of our clients located in Brockville, ON.
As the Custodian, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the entire facility—both office and production areas—under the guidance of the Production Manager. You’ll play an essential role in maintaining a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning of office, boardrooms, restrooms, kitchen, and production areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum, polish floors, shampoo carpets, and dust surfaces
Wash walls, windows, and window coverings as needed
Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors
Replenish supplies such as toilet tissue and soap
Prepare and clean up boardrooms for meetings, events, and other gatherings
Use cleaning chemicals properly and safely
Maintain cleanliness outside the facility—snow removal, lawn maintenance, litter pickup
Ensure cleaning supplies are well-stocked and stored appropriately
Report any necessary repairs or maintenance to the appropriate team
Follow all WHMIS and chemical safety guidelines
Complete cleaning logs and documentation as required
Qualifications:
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada.
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience in custodial or janitorial work
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly
Comfortable multitasking and managing priorities
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, crouch, and move throughout the facility
Exposure to common cleaning chemicals
Tasks performed in both office and manufacturing environments
