Adecco is currently hiring a temporary Customer Service Representative to work full-time hours for our client, a well-established transportation provider, located in Markham, ON.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in maintaining positive relationships with customers by providing exceptional assistance, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues. You will serve as the primary point of contact between the company and its customers, ensuring their needs are met and their concerns are addressed in a professional and efficient manner.   • Pay Rate: $21/hour

  • Location: Markham, ON

  • Shifts: Monday-Friday |9:00am – 5:00pm

  • Job type: Temporary long term with potential to become a permanent position

Responsibilities:

  • Provide highest level of customer service to all customers

  • Data Entry

  • Taking inbound calls in busy call center

  • Answering customer inquiries

  • Providing quotes, checking availability, confirming bookings

  • Asking questions and extracting required details from customers for booking inquiries

  • Responds to customer inquires and problems by providing timely and accurate information or directing inquires to appropriate staff member.

  • Treats each customer and staff member with courtesy, dignity and respect of privacy

  • Meet or exceed established performance requirements

  • Willingness to follow and execute departmental procedures.

  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Passion and pride for providing excellent customer service. Communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required. 

  • Good data entry experience, good accuracy and able to grasp new systems quickly

  • Able to prioritize work, excellent attention to detail

  • Good knowledge of Ontario geography is an asset

  • Any logistics or transportation industry experience would also be an asset

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, professional and friendly telephone manner. 

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Detail oriented, high accuracy levels

  • Ability to understand, listen and execute the customer’s needs.

  • Previous experience in a high volume call centres an asset.

  • Ability to handle stressful situations with a positive outcome

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
