Adecco is currently seeking a Deskside Services Administrator for a 6-month contract in Ottawa, ON, with strong potential for extension. In this hands-on role, you’ll provide first and second-level IT support for internal users, focusing on desktop hardware, Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and mobile devices.

You’ll be responsible for imaging and deploying systems, resolving technical issues, and supporting enterprise tools like Azure, Intune, and Autopilot. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and experienced in mid-to-large IT environments. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative setting supporting domestic and international teams.

  • Pay rate: $26.50/hour.
  • Location: Ottawa, ON
  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Job type: 6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension) | Full-time

Responsibilities:
  • Imaging, deploying, and supporting desktops and laptops
  • Providing support for Microsoft 365, Windows OS, mobile devices, and basic IP networking
  • Documenting processes and creating user-facing support content
  • Assisting with equipment moves and on-site support needs
  • Managing Active Directory objects and device provisioning using Intune/Autopilot
  • Supporting a 24/7 IT environment (flexible hours may be required)
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting security infrastructure
Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • 2–4 years of desktop support experience in mid to large environments
  • 1–2 years of experience with Microsoft Azure / Active Directory Administration
  • 1–2 years of experience with Intune / Autopilot
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and resolve problems efficiently
  • A+ Certification or equivalent experience with PC hardware
  • Experience in 24x7x365 environments is an asset
  • Exposure to storage/retention and technology-based security systems is an asset
