Adecco is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Developer - Desktop Management to join our client’s Infrastructure Services (IS) team in Calgary, Alberta. This is a 6-month contract opportunity, ideal for IT professionals who excel in hands-on support, system configuration, and troubleshooting hardware/software issues in a dynamic business environment.
- Pay rate: $37/hour.
- Location: Calgary, AB
- Shifts: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
- Job type: 6-month contract | Full-time

Responsibilities:
- Address customer requests for installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of hardware and software.
- Respond to service requests via phone/email and document resolutions in knowledge bases.
- Support system upgrades, office tool installations, and workstation setups.
- Troubleshoot and support laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and telecom equipment.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware/software across various device platforms.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure prompt delivery and installation of new equipment.
- Maintain software/hardware inventories and recommend standardized solutions.
- Document all procedures, configurations, best practices, and installation processes.
- Train new hires and junior staff on tools and support practices.
- Escalate complex problems to the appropriate support teams.
Requirements:
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- 4–7 years’ experience in a similar desktop support or infrastructure support role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills for user support and vendor coordination.
- Familiarity with desktop management tools and remote support platforms.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- ServiceNow, AirWatch, Uber Agent – Experience with enterprise ITSM, device management, and user analytics tools.
- PC/Laptop Repair Certifications – CompTIA A+, Dell/HP repair certifications, or equivalent vendor-authorized training.
- Other IT Certifications – Including CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator, or ITIL Foundation.
