Our Mississauga client is a supplier to the global marketplace, specializing in products and services designed to maximize equipment performance and productivity. On their behalf, we are currently seeking a Digital Coordinator (6+ month contract) who will be a part of the global marketing activation team. Reporting to the Digital Programs Manager, the Digital Coordinator will support the planning, execution and optimization of digital marketing right across organizational online platforms and properties. The role will work closely with internal marketing stakeholders, external development and creative agencies, and other partners to ensure best-in-class digital presence, content delivery and online tools. REQUIREMENTS – Digital Coordinator
2- 3 years of work experience in digital marketing (excluding social media)
Post-secondary education in Marketing or a related field
Experience with google analytics and website management is a strong asset
Experience in digital planning and execution is advantageous, as you'll be the main point of contact between the marketing stakeholders and agency teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment
Familiarity with Sitecore and Pardot/Salesforce is a plus, however there must be a foundational understanding of the principles of websites, CMS’, SEO and analytics
Strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple digital tasks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for liaising with diverse stakeholders, alongside a strong eye for detail and quality assurance
Strong stakeholder management skills, together with strong collaboration and a teamwork mindset
Time, organizational, and project management skills are a strong asset
Experience using digital marketing such as Google Analytics, website content management systems (CMS)
Experience in data analysis and reporting
RESPONSIBILITIES – Digital Coordinator
Handle the day-to-day responsibility of monitoring the content changes on all the commercial websites -This involves reviewing the requests and working with agency and website developers to execute the request. This role will have to sign off the changes for go-live.
Handling the day-to-day working of the distributor learning platform, which involves the manual handling of the course allocation, and working with IT to manage the user management manual process for all new user additions and deletions as per the business requirements and IT protocols. In addition to this, the resource should be able to handle the review of the courses, navigate/ troubleshoot the errors on the platform and help the end-users with the day-to-day issues.
Resource should be able to manage the regular content audit process for the websites and distributor platforms, this is a continuous effort to keep the content up-to-date and ensure the website review doesn’t fall off as a low-priority element among the other bigger projects. The audit work involves content, case studies, imagery, product Imagery and other marketing assets.
Do weekly meetings with the creative agency and the development team to manage the regular workflow of tickets, ensuring smooth communication between the developers and the internal Marketing team.
Work with IT team to manage the website’s (All commercial websites & platforms) security protocols, order SSLs and ensure the implementation of the same, and order new domains and vanity domains for marketing needs.
Work with website development team on the server security tickets and manage communication with IT team for proper implementation and approvals.
Handle incoming queries from sales and interact with sales on assigning new users on distributor platform, learning platform and other websites. In addition to this resource will proactively work with the sales team to highlight the gaps in the usage of these platforms based on the data reports.
Handling of day-to-day of the ecommerce and order management website, which is expected to move over to the Digital Marketing team. The resource will look into the regular day-to-day operations, respond to user queries, understand the technical setup of the website and suggest basic improvements.
Manage the content on the websites outside of the regular audit process done by segment teams and brand teams. This approach will flag the content proactively from the digital team for correction.
Manage and deliver the reporting dashboards for the marketing leadership team and ad hoc report requirements with the agency
