Adecco is currently hiring a Distribution Associate for a full-time temporary opportunity in Ottawa.
In this role, you will be responsible for packing and shipping finished goods to North American and international destinations, ensuring all export documentation is accurate and compliant. If you have strong attention to detail and can work independently while prioritizing tasks, this position could be a great fit for you.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience with shipping procedures, be comfortable handling export paperwork such as commercial invoices and bills of lading, and have the ability to manage workload with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
Pack and prepare finished goods shipments for North American and international destinations
Affix additional labels on product boxes as required for specific countries
Complete commercial invoices, packing slips, bills of lading, and check sheets accurately
Load products onto trucks 2-3 times a week
Prepare and complete export documents related to each shipment, ensuring compliance with customs, FDA, and other regulatory requirements
Ensure all outgoing shipments have proper paperwork to avoid delays
Work independently and prioritize workload effectively
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
Experience in packing, shipping, or distribution preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks
Familiarity with export documentation and customs requirements is an asset
Good communication skills and reliability
