Adecco is currently recruiting for a Financial Officer for a 3-6month contract opportunity with our client in Downtown Vancouver, BC. The opportunity is a hybrid role, in-office Tuesday and Thursday. The ideal candidate has experience with Financial reporting requirements, with strong communication skills.
The Financial Officer will have the following responsibilities:
Creation, tracking and finalization of travel or other claims cost compared against the most economical means
Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making processes within the organization
Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts to guide business planning and operations
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards to maintain organizational integrity
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance and resource allocation
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
Performing document and file management functions, including e-filing
Photocopying, faxing and scanning documents
Required reports and returns are competed and submitted within mandated timelines
Provide weekly updates on progress initiatives
The Financial Officer must meet the following mandatory requirements:
3+ years of relevant experience in the areas of Financial operations and monthly financial reporting;
2+ years of experience working with Large-Scale financial operations;
Must have strong communication skills and ability to communicate financial concepts;
Must have experience with ERP tools, with SAP being a strong asset;
Experience in financial analysis would be considered an asset;
Experience with Chrome River Expense management would be considered an asset;
