Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Forklift Operator - (Counterbalanace) is responsible for a variety of warehouse operations including loading, unloading, moving, picking, and placing materials. This role ensures the accurate handling of inventory, order fulfillment, and documentation. You must be proficient with forklifts such as counterbalance, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and accuracy.

Responsibilities:
Perform quality, condition and quantity audits of shipped products for both incoming and outgoing items
Report all product damages and discrepancies to Logistics Manager
Assist with weekly inventory cycle counts as required by ALGC personnel
Identify inventory count discrepancies and report to Logistics Manager
Take note of any peculiar or unusual product movement or out of stock situations and inform Logistics Manager of the situation
Support inventory control with accurate documentation
Ensure high standards of warehouse security is maintained
Develop and sustain a professional and productive relationship with all carriers, contractors, suppliers, internal departments and key stakeholders
Identify and inform Logistics Manager of any repairs or maintenance needed on warehouse equipment
Ensure facility housekeeping standards are upheld
Follow all applicable federal safety standards and local laws
Provide backup support for Receiver
Assist with other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Previous shipping/receiving experience preferred
Forklift Operator’s License required (Toyota Electric Counterbalance)
Experience in packaged goods or warehousing is an asset
Operate lifting devices, e.g., forklifts (Toyota Electric Counterbalance)
Follow the secure and accurate loading and unloading of products from pallets, skids, platforms and lifting devices in accordance with established procedures
Follow all product inventory procedures, including FIFO
Ensure all correct documentation is completed
Follow all workplace safety policies and compliance regulations
Accurately weigh and document materials
Provide production data on tags or labels
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
