Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented and client-focused Global Logistics Analyst to join our client’s logistics and compliance team in Burlington, ON. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure the seamless and compliant movement of global shipments. You will be responsible for end-to-end logistics coordination, documentation, and client communication, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and service excellence.

Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients via phone and email regarding export procedures and compliance-related matters.
Confirm client terms of sale and carriage, ensuring clarity and alignment.
Proactively resolve client and partner issues in a timely and professional manner.
Provide shipment updates and key status changes through direct communication and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
Screen all shipments against known shippers and denied party lists and gather necessary compliance documentation.
Adhere to escalation protocols when deviations from Service Level Agreements (SLA) or Standard Operating Procedures occur.
Ensure all activities comply with SOPs, client-specific protocols, and quality standards aligned with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Generate accurate quotes for shipments in line with client expectations and internal pricing structures.
Enter quote details and related information into TMS platforms.
Confirm shipment readiness and alignment with documentation, including inspections for dangerous goods in compliance with IATA/ICAO regulations.
Determine optimal routing (air, ocean, or ground) based on cost efficiency and delivery timelines.
Coordinate shipment tendering and carrier arrangements.
Execute AES filings with U.S. Census for export shipments.
Monitor and ensure the successful clearance of consignments with required customs documentation.
Track and manage Profit & Loss (P&L) for each consignment.
Input accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) charges into the TMS billing system within agreed timelines.
Prepare and manage shipment documentation, including air waybills, bills of lading, manifests, labels, certificates of origin, pickup notices, flight information, and security forms.
Create and send pre-alert documentation to relevant stakeholders.
Upload all related shipment documents into applicable TMS systems.
Generate and deliver reports related to shipment metrics, volumes, and account activities in line with reporting deadlines.
Ensure timely delivery of import documentation to brokers and confirm successful receipt
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or three years international logistics experience.
Minimum of 3 years of international logistics experience, and a proven track record of building relationships with and providing outstanding service to customers/clients.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Relationship development and management skills.
Strong organizational skills. Ability to multi-task.
Ability to manage work and meet deadlines.
Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
Knowledge of the airline and ocean industry and routing.
Logistics / Supply Chain / Cold Chain experience.
Courier / transportation experience.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
