As a Health & Safety Supervisor, you will lead the development and enforcement of safety policies, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.

Key responsibilities:
Health & Safety Program Management:
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety programs
Conduct safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments
Identify potential risks and enforce corrective actions
Training and Education:
Create and deliver employee health and safety training
Ensure awareness and compliance with company safety policies
Maintain training and certification records
Incident Management:
Investigate workplace incidents and near-misses
Report on findings and implement corrective actions
Coordinate prevention strategies with leadership
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure full compliance with provincial/federal health and safety laws
Stay updated on legislative changes and best practices
Prepare and submit required reports to authorities
Emergency Response:
Develop and maintain emergency response procedures
Coordinate drills and provide emergency training
Act as point of contact during emergency situations
Continuous Improvement:
Monitor health and safety KPIs and performance metrics
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Promote a proactive safety culture across the site
Qualifications:
Must be eligible to reside and work within Canada
Degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field
5+ years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably within a logistics or warehouse environment
Proven experience developing and implementing health and safety programs
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
