Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior HR Advisor and Director, you will support the development of strategic HR programs and provide operational HR advisory services across a wide range of functions, including:
Recruitment and staffing
Learning and development
HR policy development and planning
Support in employment equity, pay equity, job evaluation/classification, and health & safety (training provided)

What You Bring:
Education & Experience:
University degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources, or equivalent combination of education and recent experience in a unionized HR environment
Proven experience in recruitment, staffing, and learning & development
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong understanding of trade union and equity principles
Proficiency with HR systems and implementation
Sound judgment and ability to advise all levels of staff and leadership
Awareness of the social and political dynamics within unionized environments
Solid grasp of employment legislation, standards, and collective agreements
Attributes:
Fully bilingual in English and French (written, spoken, and comprehension)
Strong analytical skills
Conflict resolution and relationship-building abilities
Excellent project management and team collaboration skills
Advanced proficiency in HR-related software tools
