Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-driven Inventory Analyst to join our client’s team in the integrated oil & gas sector. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting volumetric and inventory balancing activities, ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliation of product movement across the value chain. This position is ideal for early- to mid-career professionals with a foundation in accounting and a keen interest in operations and data integrity.
Pay Rate: $30.00/hr - $35.00/hr (based on experience)
Location: Port Moody, BC
Shift: Monday to Friday | 8hours/day

Responsibilities:
Validate individual tank inventories based on processing, receipts, deliveries and blending for truck, rail, pipeline, and marine operations.
Perform investigations on product volume discrepancies and mitigate any environmental and product loss issues.
Ensure accurate ticketing and balancing of pipeline receipts.
Communicate daily with terminal staff regarding routine and unusual concerns.
Balance the terminal four times a month using SAP reporting for our inventories and product movements in addition to back support as needed.
Prepare and file reports on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis.
Reconcile third-party contracts and process inter-contract movements, nominating as well as ticketing intercompany regrades.
Provide backfill support for other inventory accounting roles in the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (prefer Business/Economics)
Experience working in a trading, finance, or operations environment
2+ years experience in crude and/or refined products logistics, settlements, or accounting
Basic knowledge of the end-to-end transaction lifecycle, including trade capture, contracts, scheduling, risk management, invoicing and settlements flow of trade
Basic knowledge of how deal entry and scheduling processes impact inventory management, settlements, and tax
Strong Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills, with high attention to detail
Working knowledge of SAP (particularly Materials Management module)
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
