Adecco is currently seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician for a permanent role in Scarborough, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical systems within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to fabricate parts and perform modifications to machinery.
Pay rate: $58k-$62k/year.

Responsibilities:
Form and fabricate machine parts and components for experimental projects and repairs.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and written/verbal instructions.
Use machine and hand tools to work with metals and materials to tight tolerances.
Troubleshoot machinery and systems (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic); recommend and supervise corrective actions.
Apply data from manuals and references to calculate dimensions and capacities.
Maintain a clear understanding of plant systems and participate in maintenance planning.
Collaborate with engineering, technical staff, and third-party vendors as needed.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Perform additional tasks as directed by management.
Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical repair.
Advantageous: Apprenticeship or certification as an Electrician or Millwright.
Strong troubleshooting abilities.
Knowledge of manufacturing and metalworking machinery operations and safety procedures
Excellent communication skills.
Familiar with tools such as tape measure, micrometer, callipers
Experience with reading and interpreting technical prints and schematics
Ability to fabricate and modify parts.
Basic electrical wiring knowledge
Punctual and reliable.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Able to follow instructions precisely to ensure accurate repairs.
