Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled and licensed Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) to join our client’s production team in Woodbridge, ON. This role is responsible for performing maintenance repairs, preventative maintenance (PMs), and equipment modifications related to production processes and facilities. In this role you will ensure that all tasks are carried out with strict adherence to food safety, health and safety regulations, and company maintenance procedures.
Pay Rate: $42.00/hour

Shift: Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Sunday to Thursday OR Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Sunday to Thursday

Responsibilities:
Perform assigned preventive and predictive maintenance using the CMMS.
Accurately document all reactive and emergency maintenance activities.
Diagnose breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Communicate breakdown resolutions effectively with management and team members.
Participate in technical projects and process improvement initiatives.
Assist in developing maintenance procedures and training documentation.
Improve CMMS data integrity and contribute to procedural enhancements.
Provide timely on-floor maintenance support across shifts, including weekends if needed.
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve recurring equipment issues.
Support implementation of long-term solutions for process optimization.
Attend technical training sessions to stay up to date on new equipment and technology.
Follow all company and legislative safety protocols, including PPE and Arc Flash protection.
Work in full compliance with the company’s safety policies and government legislation.
Report incidents, hazards, unsafe conditions, and equipment defects to supervisors.
Use all required personal protective equipment and follow sanitation protocols.
Adhere to and enforce policies related to food safety and quality.
Report any food safety or quality concerns promptly.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Robotics Engineering Technology.
Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Prior experience with CMMS and working in a food manufacturing environment is an asset.
Licensed Millwright (433A) or equivalent maintenance technician certification.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and government regulations.
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills; capable of root cause analysis.
Proficient in written/verbal communication and documentation.
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently under pressure.
Strong problem-solving, time management, and multitasking abilities
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
