Adecco is currently hiring a full-time dedicated Maintenance Mechanic (Unlicensed) to support licensed trades personnel in performing maintenance repairs, equipment modifications, and preventive maintenance (PM) within our production facilities for our client in Woodbridge, ON. This position plays a vital role in maintaining efficient plant operations while following all health, safety, and food safety protocols, and completing maintenance documentation accurately.
Pay Rate: $37.50/hour
Location: Woodbridge, ON
Shift: Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Sunday to Thursday OR Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Sunday to Thursday

Responsibilities:
Perform assigned preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log all maintenance activities, including reactive and emergency repairs.
Assist in identifying root causes of equipment breakdowns and recommend corrective actions.
Support the development of maintenance procedures and training documentation.
Participate in technical projects and collaborate on process improvement initiatives.
Assist with CMMS improvements and competency-based training programs.
Provide day-to-day support for plant operations and maintenance teams.
Collaborate with engineering and licensed trades to implement permanent solutions.
Be available to support weekend or off-shift work as needed.
Stay current with technical training offered by equipment manufacturers.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE and Arc Flash protection.
Qualifications and Skills:
Completion of a diploma or degree in a related Maintenance or Engineering program.
Preferred specialization in Electrical, Mechanical, or Robotics.
Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
Prior use of a CMMS system is required.
Experience in food manufacturing is considered an asset.
Ability to execute and document planned maintenance tasks.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and regulations.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Capable of multitasking and prioritizing under pressure.
Adaptable to change with a continuous improvement mindset.
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
