Adecco is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a temporary to possibly permanent role in Bowmanville, ON, offering $25/hour. In this hands-on position, you'll perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on hydraulic, electrical, and plumbing systems to keep the facility running safely and efficiently. Ideal for someone dependable, mechanically inclined, and ready to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
You'll play a key role in minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment runs at peak performance—an essential part of the operations team.
- Pay rate: $25/hour.
- Location: Bowmanville, ON
- Shifts: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm
- Job type: Temporary to possibly permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and repairing machinery and plant systems including cylinder rebuilds, replacing seals, basic carpentry, electrical repair, and plumbing work.
- Carrying out scheduled weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance check-ups.
- Ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Responding promptly to emergency maintenance needs and prioritizing urgent repairs.
- Communicating maintenance issues to management and working collaboratively with team members.
- Performing other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Has the ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Possesses a working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Has strong communication skills and is capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrates the ability to prioritize tasks in a high-paced environment.
- Must be able to pass a Criminal Background check
