Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support our client’s warehouse and production operations in Ottawa, ON. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining production and distribution of supplies by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product.

Responsibilities:
Maintaining and keeping inventory by identifying, labeling and stocking materials.
Fix adjust and support backflushing errors within QAD.
Accommodate all customer demands for material deliveries to and from all departments.
Base Baking Ovens to be counted and recorded weekly.
Maintain accurate inventory control; minimize material scrap and material preparation.
Follow engineering instructions as they apply to builds and experiments.
Observe all policies and procedures for proper use of equipment and material.
Cycle count components base on a cycle count schedule established by the Lead Material Handler. Chip movement and cover print movement from Assytrak and Cprint trak to QAD.
Support each shift in meeting the minimum kit release requirement as outlined by the Lead Material Handler.
Order replenish and stock bases in ovens when material has been pulled.
Safely handle and transfer finished goods items from Assembly to the Quarantine fridges.
Accurately monitor and record movement of cartridges electronically through Test Trak as required.
Unpacking and moving of EQL covers to Assembly (requires gowning up to place covers in location).
Work in the Diebank to fulfill wafer chip requirements as required.
Maintain component daily kitting requirements with zero backlog.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Must comply with applicable EHS policies, procedure and guidelines to ensure that safety rules are adhered to on the premises.
Safeguard the environment and facilitate a safe and healthy workplace culture.
Demonstrate compliant gowning and cleanroom techniques.
Maintain an organized, tidy and clean workspace in support of 5S.
Other miscellaneous duties as required.
Qualifications:
High School diploma.
Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is an asset.
Experience with manufacturing/production program application is an asset but not required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software.
Ability to do periodic heavy lifting.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
