Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled and customer-focused Medical Services Technician to join our client’s medical team in Oshawa, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing medical equipment, providing technical support to clients, and ensuring the reliable performance of critical healthcare devices. Your work will directly impact patient care by helping clients maintain equipment functionality and safety.
Pay Rate: $25 - $30/hour (based on experience)
Location: Oshawa, ON
Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:30m – 5:00pm

Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients, resolving equipment issues in a timely and professional manner.
Educate clients on proper use, care, and basic maintenance of their medical devices and products.
Accurately document all service activities, repairs, and technical interactions in accordance with company procedures.
Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement improvements in service delivery and client satisfaction.
Stay current on industry regulations, safety protocols, and new technologies related to medical equipment and servicing practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
Technical diploma or certification in biomedical engineering, electronics, or a related field
Previous experience servicing medical or technical equipment preferred
Exercise professionalism in communication, work attendance habits and attire.
Maintain professionalism and technical knowledge by attending workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing professional networks; and participating in professional societies as appropriate.
Attend weekly staff meetings and training as required.
Contribute to continuous improvement of Durham Medical processes.
Accurately and efficiently perform diversified tasks relating to product installation, trouble-shooting and repair of equipment.
Provide instruction and paperwork to clients/care givers/therapist as required
Lift, load and unload equipment into company vehicle for transport
Assemble products for showroom (i.e bed tables, walkers, bath chairs. etc)
Document repair/testing/assembly activities- cause of failure, action taken, and parts used, labour hours.
Carefully installing ceiling lifts, stair lifts, free curve and curved stairlifts with zero errors.
Maintain tools and be knowledgeable and skillful in use of both hand and powered tools.
Clean rental and loaned equipment
General warehouse maintenance
Work in a safe manner at all times, complying with all current safety legislation and company safety policy.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
